Zoemie Logo for web siteErick De Sousa has already won dozens of accolades and established a stellar reputation for his bio-dynamic champagnes. 

The houses is based in Avize, one of the 6 Grand Cru villages in La Côte des Blancs, so not surprisingly Blanc de Blancs champagnes form the majority of the De Sousa range although the entry point to De Sousa champagnes is their cuvée Tradition which is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Pnot Meunier.

Recently however a new name and a new brand has been added to the De Sousa stable; it's Zoémie De Sousa and this new brand is managed by Erick's two daughters and son.

The grapes come from two hectares belonging to close friends of the family; close in the personal and geopgrahic sense so that the quality of viticulture in those hectares is well known to the De Sousas. The vines aren't certified as bio-dynamic, but since Erick himself looks after many aspects of the vinification you can be sure that the quality of the champagnes is top notch as well.
