4,722 to be precise, according to the official statistics.

If you didn’t know that, don’t worry. Most people don’t either and I dare say that you’ve never heard of 95% of them let alone tasted them.

With so many champagnes to choose from it’s hard to select just one or two to try for the first time.

That’s why so many people just go for the familiar option which is one of the well-known international brands.

In my view though, this is a real shame because amongst these the undiscovered champagnes are some absolute gems that will really blow your socks off in terms of quality, variety and Yes often in terms of price as well.
