An introduction to the Penet-Chardonnet style, created and selected by Alexandre Penet,

applying high quality standards with the same combination of

character, freshness and low dosage

BRUT SELECTION

90% Pinot, 10% Chardonnay

Includes Premier Cru and Grand Cru grapes.

Aged at least 3 years on the lees with 20% reserve wine.

Brut Champagne with low dosage (8 g/l).

Beautifully fresh with a dominant taste of black fruits and very fine bubbles.

Ideal as an aperitif.

MILLESIME 2005 EXTRA BRUT

70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, only with Premier Cru and Grand Cru grapes.

Vintage 2005.

Extra-Brut Champagne: dosage < 6 g/l.

Full of freshness and very fine bubbles, this champagne stands out for its elegant white flower notes.

Ideal as an aperitif and perfect pairing with seafood and fish.

Reserve line

Special distinctions: Extra Brut Champagnes, aged 5 years minimum,

selected from Penet-Chardonnet's Grand Cru parcels.

ROSE, GRAND CRU, EXTRA-BRUT

Aged 5 years on the lees, with 15% reserve wine partially kept in barrels and home made red wine made from an old vine.

Of a nice red color, it develops intense red fruit aromas.

The Pinot Noir predominates by its intensity, while its dense structure provides a very long finish.

Zero dosage.

Less than 2000 bottles of this cuvée were produced, and each bottle is numbered.

Perfect pairing with fine Middle East or Asian cuisine.

RESERVE, GRAND CRU, EXTRA-BRUT

Made from a selection of our Grand Cru parcelss of Verzy and Verzenay, this very fine champagne was bottled in 2005 and aged on the lees until its disgorgement date, mentioned on the back label.

The wine has a glorious golden hue hinting at maturity and a fullness of fruit character to come on the palate. The attack is rounded and full of ripe grapefruit and melon which then softens on the mid-palate with vanilla and a hint of toasted nuts. Throughout, a tight vein of acidity gives the wine great balance and drinkability followed by a satisfying and long mineral finish.

Dosage: 3 g/l.

Ideal as an aperitif and perfect pairing with seafood or fine poultry with creamy sauce.

very best Grand Cru parcels.

GRANDE RESERVE, GRAND CRU, BRUT NATURE

Made from a selection of our best Grand Cru parcels of Verzy, this exceptionally complex, mineral and powerful Champagne was bottled in 2002 and aged on the lees until its disgorgement date, mentioned on the back label.

It leaves a gorgeous hint of green apples in the mouth and a long minerally overtone. Precise and clean on the palate.

Zero dosage.

Less than 5000 bottles of this cuvée were produced, and each bottle is numbered.

Grand Reserve perfectly accompanies cod fish or wild smoked salmon.

CUVEE DIANE CLAIRE, GRAND CRU, BRUT NATURE

Named after two family members, this prestigious wine, made from a selection of our best Grand Cru parcels of Verzenay, is based essentially on the outstanding 2002 vintage. It was bottled in 2003 and was aged on the lees until its disgorgement date, mentioned on the back label.

This amber-colored Champagne displays intense flavor and exceptional complexity. On the nose, toasted and zesty flavors while still crunchy. On the palate, a very distinguished green apple and orange zest taste gives this Champagne a magnificent freshness.

Less than 9000 bottles of this cuvée were produced, and each bottle is numbered.

Its concentrated nose, delicate bubbles and texture on the palate make it ideal to be served on special occasions - aperitif or gastronomic meal.
